The pressing turned out okay, but I expected the books to look cleaner after paying for the service. I was also a bit confused because the email seemed to say one thing, but the actual result felt like something else. Overall, not terrible, just not what I thought I was getting...

I used the cert lookup while checking out a comic I was thinking about buying, and it loaded fast. The page was simple and didn’t make me dig around, which I liked. I can’t say I did a ton of extra checking beyond that, but it gave me enough confidence to feel better about the purchase

CGC has been around forever, in the comic hobby, people seem to treat their word like it was carved into stone. Their site is easy to use, nothing too complicated or dramatic there, but their grading reputation is what really stands out to me. It just feels solid, reliable, and kind of like the safe harbor in the stormy seas of comic collecting.

Overall, the authentication process was straightforward and I didn’t have much trouble getting in. That said, it did feel a little clunky in spots, like it could be faster or more polished. Still, it worked fine for the most part, and I appreciated that it didn’t turn into a frustrating experience.

I mostly use cgccomics.com to check on submissions and update my account stuff when I need to. I’m not on there every single day or anything, usually just when I remember to check after work or while I’m sitting with coffee, but it’s easy enough to find my way around.

The account page is straightforward, which I appreciate. It shows the things I actually care about, like orders, status updates, and forms, without making me click through a bunch of random menus.

I haven’t really had any problems logging in or checking on my comics. It’s just nice when a website works the way you expect it to and doesn’t turn a simple thing into a project.

Maybe it works better for other people or bigger submissions, but for me it just felt all over the place. The turnaround wasn’t anything special either, so I probably wouldn’t bother with pre-screen again unless I had a huge stack to send in.

My grades came back fine, so no big issue there, but the whole thing took longer than I was hoping. Not a bad experience, but next time I’ll probably just mail mine in and save myself the hassle.

I sent a few comics in for Signature Series, the whole thing felt way more stressful than it should have. The updates were confusing, and one of my books just sat there much longer than I expected with no clear explanation. Every time I reached out, customer service gave me these generic copy-paste replies, which made me wonder if anyone was actually looking into it. The book came back fine in the end, but for what it costs, the process felt messy and kind of suspicious

The books were in decent shape once they finally showed up, so there’s that. Shipping, though, was a whole little adventure for no reason. The tracking didn’t update for days, which was super helpful, and then the package arrived later than the date they originally gave me. Not exactly what I’d call reliable. I’d probably order again if I had plenty of time and didn’t mind guessing when my stuff might appear.

The whole lost and damaged order situation was mentally draining, and it took longer than I hoped to get fixed. But in the end, they did make it right, so I appreciate that.

Not gonna lie, I was relieved when my comics came back and all the labels were spot on. The names and issue info matched like they should, and the cases looked really clean too. They display nicely on the shelf, so overall I’m happy with how the order turned out. No weird mistakes or anything

I was just trying to sort this out while drinking my morning coffee, and I didn’t expect a reply that quickly. Support answered almost right away and fixed my question without making it complicated. Super easy experience

This slab feels really tough and has held up well so far. No cracks or chips, which is all I was hoping for, always a relief when something actually does what it’s supposed to do
